Writing or not writing

What is your answer if someone asks you whether you want to write? 

If someone asks me this question, my answer is obvious, of course, I will write, and I will write a lot of it. It is regarding your contribution and respect and appreciation for your work. Well, I don't want to confuse you, but I am talking about the idea of writing a paper for publication. So today, I got the notification, that my paper is being cited. For some writers, stuff like this may be quite common. But for me, it's not common at all, I am not used to having some notification, that someone from a great journal cited my writing. 

Today it's happening, my paper from the Eurasian Economic Review is being cited, by another writer who coincidently also writing for the Eurasian Economic Review. One of the reasons could be because of the methodology that is being used, for example, the SVAR model. 

And that's the point, this SVAR model! I want it to be the area of my expertise. To check what is it and how to do it! It's a very powerful tool! 

So yes, if someone says, ok tell me your Magnus opus, for now, maybe I answer, this writing with my supervisor Marek Dabrowski, the paper about SVAR is my Magnus opus, as it is also part of my PhD dissertation.
