Benua benua di dunia

Benua adalah daratan luas yang berada di permukaan Bumi. Benua memiliki Luas daratan yang lebih besar dari Pulau. Bumi yang kita huni ini memiliki 7 Benua, ketujuh Benua tersebut diantaranya adalah Benua Asia, Benua Eropa, Benua Afrika, Benua Amerika Utara, Benua Amerika Selatan, Benua Australia dan Benua Antartika. Tetapi ada juga yang membedakannya menjadi 6 Benua yaitu menggabungkan Benua Amerika Utara dan Benua Amerika Selatan menjadi satu Benua yakni Benua Amerika saja.

Dari Ketujuh Benua tersebut, Benua terbesar di Dunia ini adalah Benua Asia yang memiliki luas daratan sekitar 44,579,000 km2 atau sekitar 29.5% dari Total luas daratan di Bumi ini. Sedangkan Benua yang terkecil adalah Benua Australia yang hanya memiliki luas daratan sekitar 9.008.500 km2atau sekitar 5.9% dari total luas daratan Bumi ini.

Satu-satunya Benua yang belum memiliki penghuni tetap adalah Benua Antartika yang berada di Kutub Selatan Bumi. Benua Antartika hanya dihuni oleh para ilmuwan dan peneliti dalam batas waktu tertentu saja.
