25 Negara penghasil teh terbesar di dunia

Diantara kita pasti sudah familiar dengan iklan sari wangi yang menggambarkan kebun teh di Indonesia. Sejenak kita berpikir apakah mungkin Indonesia merupakan negara pengekspor teh terbesar di dunia?

Yuk kita simak kenyataannya. Berdasarkan data dari FAOSTAT, menunjukkan bahwa China merupakan negara penghasil Teh terbesar di dunia, pada tahun 2016 China mampu menghasilkan Teh sebanyak 2,401,784 ton. Sementara India menempati peringkat kedua sebagai negara penghasil teh terbesar di dunia dengan jumlah produksi sebanyak 1,252,174 ton. Sedangkan Kenya menempati peringkat ketiga dengan jumlah produksi teh pada tahun 2016 sebanyak 473,000 ton.

Indonesia juga merupakan salah satu negara penghasil teh terbesar di dunia yaitu menempati urutan ke 7 dengan jumlah produksi sekitar 144,015 ton pada tahun 2016.
