How to setup the custom domain for your blogger

This video perhaps give the main picture on how to setup them.
Anyway, as I promised, I will share how to do it also in format Blog.

Background

The background basically I don't see any purpose on having SAAS with digital ocean, even though it's been good journey together with them. I developed the previous hosting is in Django, a backend technology that using Python.

So to make sure everything should be sustainable, I develop and build the new blog in blogger.

First thing to do

SETUP everything in your domain provider.
1. Go to your hosting site. In this case I will go to rumahweb.id

2. Go to your setting of your domain

3. Go to DNS management

4. To get the info of your DNS, go to your blogger, and click setting

4. Go to custom domain and change with your custom domain, but also provide the pre-fix www

5. Also to make sure, that everyone that visit your old address will be redirected, put also this IP address of Google

6. Add this IP address to your DNS info

7. Fill all this 4 IP address there

8. Use the info of CNAME from point number 4

9.The picture on when everything is added

10. Try one more time in setting blogger, and usually it will still error because it turns out, you need to also setup SSL or https://, I will recommend using cloud flare

11. In cloud flare check all the domain you have
12. Add all the same info that previously you have in DNS management to cloudflare

13. Fill every detail the same

14. The picture when everything is filled in cloudflare, also don't forget to choose DNS only

15. In SSL make sure that you choose flexible

16. Change the name server in DNS domain hosting with the one from cloudflare

17. Check if the custom domain successful in blogger dashboard

18. Check all the redirect domain and https availability

Yes that's all! Quite journey though!
